Wales Synod Cymru Appointments

Wales Synod Cymru is looking to make two new appointments.

  1. An EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) Officer from February 2023 .
  2. Assistant Synod Secretary from September 2023.

Both are voluntary posts and more details about the roles can be found on the Job Vacancies page of the website. The Synod Chair and Leadership Team would be delighted to hear of any expressions of interest through the Synod Office by 31st January 2023.

Sunday Worship – Radio 4 – Sunday 15th January 2023

Sunday Worship on Radio 4 at 8.10am this Sunday 15th January is being led by the Synod Chair Rev Dr Stephen Wigley.

He will be reflecting on the impact of the ecumenical movement in drawing Christians closer together on this Sunday before the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity which begins on Wednesday 18th January.

The service will be available via BBC Sounds – BBC Radio 4 – Sunday Worship, Shared traditions and treasures after Sundays’ broadcast.

Christmas and New Year Greetings from Wales Synod Cymru.

Dear Colleagues,

This email is just to let you know that the Synod Office at Cyncoed will be closed from lunchtime Tuesday 20th December 2022 to Tuesday 3rd January 2023.

During this period, there will be some monitoring of emails, but the Administrator will be taking annual leave.

Stephen will be taking leave between 23rd December and 3rd January and available only in the case of pastoral emergencies.

Jennie will taking a pastoral break from 26th December until 7th February 2023.
